About Us
Mission
The Research Unit on Agro-Pastoral, Humanitarian and Food Systems (UR-SAPHA) is a research unit established in May 2022 within the National School of Statistics, Planning and Demography (ENSPD) at the University of Parakou. Its mission is to build proactive and effective scientific expertise to examine the dynamics of change and innovation in agro-pastoral, humanitarian and food systems, with a view to informing public policies and contributing to the development of decision-making tools that strengthen the resilience of rural communities and promote sustainability.
